You can see anonymised photos from our guest book here Cosaig has been open since May 2013, and we have had families, couples and small groups of friends to stay…some for short breaks some for a fortnight’s holiday.

“We’ve had a great weekend and the cottage is lovely….look forward to returning in the near future. We were able to fit all 6 bikes in the shed which was very handy. The wet room…. everyone commented how good it was and the shower in there was awesome. We were also very impressed with the array of equipment in the kitchen. “Wow! Lovely cottage, lovely welcome, helpful and friendly, AND wheelchair accessible (wide wheelchair – long length). AND PLENTY room in the wet room (no cubicle, no steps), for large lady shower chair HOIST (manual – Oxford )- and 3x carers with space to spare. I won this cottage at the Jaymart Festival, and gave it to 2 people with learning disabilities who like biking. These two people had such a good time doing things that they would not normally get the chance to do. We rode Glentress for 2 days, then chilled back here afterwards. The cottage was fantastic and you deserve a big thank you for donating it as a prize ( hope Jamie Mart liked what it was used for as she looks down) as 2 people got the chance to go mountain biking. “Perfect few days to re-charge the batteries. Cottage really comfy with everything you could possibly need. Saffron Indian restaurant is almost like an extension and worth a visit as is County Inn at Peebles. New walk along the river and old railway line is brilliant for dog walking. “The six of us have had a fab holiday at Cosaig. The welcome pack with vegan friendly goodies and doggy treats was much appreciated. Lots of great info provided re local walks of which we enjoyed several and didn’t need to use the car once! Smail’s printers also well worth a visit. Dogs appreciated blankets provided to allow them up on to the sofas, nice to have the warm fire, liked the elephant themed decor and the wet room, well equipped kitchen, garden handy for dogs. All in all a lovely place – we’ll certainly recommend and hope to be back ourselves.” J Family and greys!

“We came up from London in a group of 6 to do the Mighty Deerstalker event. The cottage was the perfect, homeliest retreat when we weren’t running up hills or wading through streams on Saturday night, and the elegant little touches were so appreciated – the warm note on arrival, the local beer, the astounding flapjacks & the fact that we felt we had everything we needed. Thank you so much for allowing us to live in your beautiful cottage. We loved every minute of it. What a beautiful relaxing place. The scenery was amazing.
